Swimming Pools Removed, If you want to remove your Gunite Pool, Bongiorno's Contracting is ready to help. Gunite pools are formed with reinforcement rods, sprayed with concrete and finished with plaster. We remove these pools by jackhammering the tops down 18" and jackhammer 6 holes approximately 12" in diameter in the bottom of the pool. In some cases depending on the local requirements the entire pool has to be removed. We then bring in clean fill and compact the area bringing it up to grade level.
Inground Liner Pools Removed, Inground liner pools are removed by removing the plastic & metal. Any concrete decking is jackhammered and removed from the hole. We bring in clean fill and compact the area bringing it up to grade level.
Above Ground Pools Removed, Above ground pool removal consists of disassembling the walls, removing the liner and hauling away the materials. Semi-inground pools are dealt with the same as above. We bring in clean fill and compact the area bringing it up to grade level.

POOL DEMOLITION:
Removal from site of all pool equipment: metal, wood and plastic. All concrete broken into small pieces and placed in pool hole if allowed, or hauled away if required. Pool hole filled with soil from a new site dig (No waste or soil from commercial sites). Area compacted and rough graded to proper elevation. Written watering instructions provided and
Sub soil raked again top dressed with screened top soil. Sedding or sodding of newly leveled areas. All disturbed areas repaired with topsoil seed or sod.
